FBLA High School students prepare for college and careers in business through academic competitions, leadership development, and educational programs.

CHAMPION CHAPTER

Champion Chapter is a series of membership engagement-focused challenges that chapters may complete for national recognition. By completing activities, chapters accrue points. Completing activities across four sections (to accrue points) will result in Champion Chapter recognition, with a banner for the adviser’s classroom/meeting space or school award case. Additional incentives such as ribbons at conferences, national recognition in publications, and plaques are available.

Champion Chapter is open to all active chapters.

  1. Please save your documentation for the activities that you choose to participate in on a shared drive, flash drive, or folder on your hard drive as you complete each activity.
  2. Once you have completed all your activities, please complete the submission form and upload your documentation.
  3. Submission forms are live, but local advisers will not receive log in instructions to FBLA Connect until August 15, as forms are directly tied to each local chapter record.
  4. Only local chapter advisers or chapter presidents will be able to access and submit entry forms.
  5. Each entry will only be submitted once.

MEMBERSHIP AWARDS

FBLA High School states and chapters are eligible for special membership awards that are automatically counted based on membership numbers. Chapters are recognized at High School Fall Conferences (NFLCs) and the High School National Leadership Conference (NLC). First-place awards are presented at one of the General Sessions in each of the categories below at the NFLCs and the NLC.  Additionally, at the NLC Certificates of Recognition are awarded to the top two chapters in each region.  Chapters may pick up the regional awards at their Region’s lounge in the Expo Hall.

The membership awards include:

  • Largest State Chapter Membership
  • Largest Increase in State Chapter Membership
  • State Recruitment of Chapters
  • Largest Local Chapter Membership
  • Market Share Award
  • Largest Increase in Local Chapter Membership
  • Connect Ten (NLC Delegates of chapters increasing membership by 10 members or more over the previous year will receive ribbons for their name badges.)
